'Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.'

Rochelle Morrison

Rochelle is an experienced and accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 20 year’s experience practising in the hospital and mental health sector, and is registered with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).

Rochelle is passionate about assisting people to better understand their emotional world and work towards psychological well-being, to feel good about themselves and make the most of their life.

She believes in compassionate and collaborative practice, to help individuals discover new psychological skills and discover more helpful ways to navigate life’s challenges.  Her aim is to create meaningful change, celebrate victories, break free from self-limiting beliefs and cultivate moments that promote symptom relief, resilience, insight, growth, confidence and joy.

Rochelle provides a warm and safe place, where humour, honesty, learning from mistakes and vulnerability are all part of the process.

Rochelle has developed a diverse skills set having worked extensively with individuals who have experienced trauma of all forms, as well as those dealing with grief and loss, workplaces stress, starting families, relationship issues or adjusting to major life changes.

Outside of work

In the wee hours of the morning you'll find Rochelle running or walking like a woman on a mission. She loves hiking in the bush, attempting to paint, being creative with textiles, cooking mostly plant based delicious fresh dishes and leaning into adventures that push her beyond her comfort zone.
